Many posts have been about being an RN and then becoming an esthetician. Well does anyone have any experience with it the other way around? I have been an esthetician in Las Vegas for 4 years. I have worked on the strip for the majority of my career. I am thinking about going to nursing school.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?

Thank you!

I can only say ... my best friend is a RN in NJ .. where they pay Very Very High wages..She got in it for the money and the love of people. She is a humanitarian. She has come to hate it.. She is over worked.. the hospital never supplies enough help. Her body and kneck are beat up.. she is in pain a lot from lifting.. she is burnt out.. Been doing it for 15 years.. Its not about the money... its about what you love to do.. and she sees this now.. and resent the fact.. that she had to pay her mortgage and put her daughter through school.. when this is not something she absolutely .. loves to do. The way the health care system is going.. things are and will continue to change drastically for the worse. In In NJ .. and all over they are starting to Mandate.. she told me that nurse.. have/get a BSN.. so.. unless you are willing to do so? Why leave the spa industry? Please share.. I am thinking of going to school soon for this career.
