I'm looking for a career change and am interested in this field. Can anyone help me??? I'm wanting to know if there are any schools in IL that are SOUTH of Chicago area? Or does anyone know where I can find that info?

I'm searching for the same thing. I did find one school in Downer's Grove. The University of Aestheticians,you can call 1-800-825-6776 for info. I have not had a chance to really research their program but it's the only school I've found so far.

Dear Jana,
My name is Betty Amundson and I'm the Director of Admissions at the Skin and Bodywork Institute, Inc in Grand Forks, North Dakota. We have two programs at our school. Massage Therapy and Aesthetician.
Our Aesthetician course is 600 hours,and the Massage Therapy is 750 hours, Tuesday thru Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Classes run three times a year, every Feb, June and Oct.

Hi I have also been researching schools in IL and MA. I am currently living in iowa and plan to return to mass. the best thing i have come across while researching is to look up the state of Illinois board of cosmetology and they should give you a list of schools in that state. that is what Mass.'s website does. if they dont have a list than look for a contact number and just call.
